I was lucky enough to get to the Man Ray exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery on thursday.
An exhibition of his portrait work, it encomapssed a time in Paris that must have been so exhilarating to have lived through, between the 2 world wars.
WIth many of his portraits, he put a naive frame around the subject. I like the idea. Here is my take on it.
If you've never heard of Man Ray or looked at his work, take time to, it is breathtaking.
Great tribute shot Sean - very nicely done! Saw an exhibition of his work some time ago at the Musee d'Orsay - first time I had really seen anything by him and I remember being so impressed.
The frame enhances the photo no end Sean, he looks quite a dapper man! The Man Ray exhibition looks very interesting & has given you new ideas, always good to learn!
