An eventful day. We enjoyed a wonderful boat ride around the rivers and canals and out to the European Parliament. Then we had to take refuge in teh Cathedral while the heavens opened and a thunderstorm raged around us.
We then managed to walk all around the city with the rain thinning the crowds. On our way back to the station to catch the train Rebecca had her purse stolen on the tram. The French police at the Police office at the station couldn't care less shrugging their shoulders and suggesting "what can we do about it, just phone your bank, but if we want to report it you have to go to another police station". Two weeks later I am still naffed off about their attitude.

Rotten shame about your wife's purse, and terrible attitude from the police. That probably dampened the trip more than the rain.
