Fiddlers Ferry Power Station~2 by seanoneill

Fiddlers Ferry Power Station~2

A more high key shot than last weeks brooding sky. allowing me to introduce negative space into the shot.

Shot from Runcorn on the opposite bank looking across the River Mersey
Love your use of negative space here

I really like this due to the contrast between the soft tones of the power station and the stark black object in the foreground (cant quite make out what it is) as it adds depth to the image. Its very striking, and well composed. Fav.

Cool high key Sean :)

@cazla Thanks. I am not sure what it was. It looked a bit like an old timber wreck, but could just be wooden posts that have silted up.

nicely done HK, like the old rotting dock or whatever it is.

I really like the simplicity of this shot, and the dark shape on the bottom right gives your photo perspective. Has an eerie feel to it, which is cool. Fav!

I love this Sean! Brilliant hi-key and B&W processing. Huge fav!

Great high key - the cooling towers look as if they are shrouded in the steam they produce. Like the use of negative space very much too.

Super image, again great use of empty space, Sean

Love all the negative space and the high key feel.

I like the use of the negative space, but I find hat the dark black object in the foreground is a distraction to me. My eye keeps going there but I think the main focus of the shot should be the power station. Hope you're okay with my feedback. I imagine you will be. Just my opinion. :)
