Salisbury Cathedral ~ 3 by seanoneill

Salisbury Cathedral ~ 3

A shot looking back from the middle of Salisbury Cathedral towards the west window.

I will post the colour version in my second album today, and other cathedral shots are in my 2 albums on 21st October, the day we visited.
Such wonderful architecture that the b&w seems to better emphasize here.

Superb shots I like them both. I think the architecture does come out more in b/w. I thought I had been in this cathedral many years ago but when I saw the coloured version I didn't remember it like that. I think it may have been Winchester because the stone was I am sure more cool and grey like this, certainly was a lovely place.

Great symmetry, love the b&w. I'm a total sucker for this long perspective, symmetrical composition, it works so well with the architecture.
