On the Saturday of our Paris trip we queued in the cold for the first day of the new Brassai exhibition at the Hotel de Ville
It was well worth the wait. A collection of more than 200 of his photos, with a lot of my favourites.
If you are in Paris while the exhibition is on, put this at the very top of your list.
I like the way the lines come together in this shot, and the lady taking a shot of the poster and the bike are very welcome additions for me.
Thank you all so much for your wonderful responses to my Paris photos, I still have a lot to post. Most of all though, my shot of Huib made number 8 in the T20. I was so chuffed, and I am sure Huib will be too. B+Ws don't seem to make the T20 very often, so it was an honour for one of mine to make it.
I am off to London shortly to watch my team, so once again commenting will be tricky for me, but I will catch up with you all over the next few days, it will help me to stay away from the cricket score from Brisbane....
