Waiting for the Number 1 to Loughborough

Rebecca and I had to pop into the village this afternoon, so I took my camera.

I spotted these two old fellas sat at the bus stop and though I did have a chat with them, I thought that the shot from behind was far better.

They were indeed putting the world to rights, the England Cricket Team being top of their agenda, so I was able to add my weight to the argument!

Sadly the bus arrived and they went into Loughborough. They were off to the pub for a few jars they told me.
very nice shot, great story behind the capture.

You have caught the sense of eavesdropping on their conversation so well, Sean. In fact I almost guessed the story before I read your commentary! Just wonderful! I love it - Fav!

I am struck by how they are dressed so much nicer than we are here in the West. I like this peaceful image of two old pals off for a quiet afternoon.

I really like shots like this, two old boys having a good natter and probably escaping the wives for a bit.

I don't know why but this shot really speaks to me. Maybe because it is an amazing story telling candid street shot or because I could imagine my own dad rest his soul sitting there with a friend. I have tears in my eyes typing this . Fav is just not enough but it's all I can give....
