On the monday of our holiday in Northumberland, the big storm Bertha hit us overnight and into monday.
We managed to get out to Seahouses for a game of minigolf, a wander around the town and on the beach, and Fish and Chips for lunch.
Here is the view from the beach out to Inner Farne's lighthouse.
Back to the here and now, we were in London yesterday to see Martin Freeman in Richard III, and arrived home bleary eyed at 1-30am. Just about to go and set up the beer for a wedding tomorrow, and then full on getting ready for our own 25th Anniversary party for 80 friends at our house tomorrow night! Then we have to get Ben to the other end of tehcounty for 9-15 on Sunday am for his county cricket final! Monday and Tuesday loook busy too!!
I'm exhausted just reading about your weekend - hope it all works to plan. Great capture of the Farne lighthouse, did you get across to Farne Island while you were there?
You caught the power of the wind here Sean.....I like the view of the light house up on that crop of land........the white LH in front of that stormy sky is very atmospheric !
