For the 2nd month running I failed to get to New Covert on the 1st. Partly because the weather wasn't good for a shot, and partly because of how busy I am.
So, with an hour to kill this afternoon and faced with the prospect of watching Leicester Tigers getting walloped again on TV, I ventured out.
I took the opportunity to get to a different viewpoint on the edge of the hill that allowed me to close in on the tree and capture one of my favourite local landscapes in a different way to usual.
I will put colour and and another B+W in my other albums.
We have another busy week coming up, full of meetings and a lot of work when my Chinese factories return from holiday, with a trip to London on Thursday/Friday as well. So I expect to be missing in action again.
I like the different view and prefer the b/w for this shot. Think it brings the viewpoint of the tree and cloud on the skyline. The colour is a distraction for me.
