Archive shot

This has always been one of my favourite shots, and I had another go at processing it in B+W this morning. by masking the sky and then the church and foreground so I could adjust the levels of both separately.

The shot is of a Bavarian church taken on holiday in 2013.

A very cold day here. Over at the farm this morning doing some brewery work, and then back home to plant an apricot tree and belatedly some tulips and alliums.

We are all braving the cold and heading over to Stratford tonight for fish and chips and then going to see a new play called Oppenheimer at the RSC.

What a great looking building and church. Love your edit. Oh an apricot tree. YUM! Have a great Saturday and enjoy your fish and chips!

@amandal Thank you Amanda. I am hoping for enough to make a years supply of Apricot Jam. We have an Apricot tree at my office and we got a crop last year for the first time. The Jam was sublime!! Enjoy your weekend.

Fabulous work, Sean! We finally saw the sun yesterday after its one week absence and it is going to be a bright sunny weekend here! FAV

Nice, simple shot the sloping hillside, church and tree. The effect of adjusting the levels of sky separately is great. Sounds iike you have a full day planned and a nice ending with dinner and a show with friends. A perfect Saturday.

Superb. I'm trying to get to grips with PSE and one day I'll talk nonchalantly about using masks to adjust levels separately :)

Wonderful processing Sean! Fabulously stark in its simplicity and an absolute Fav! And, yes, you might as well go to the RSC while you are there getting your fish and chips!
