These are just a few of the nerines that I have in my garden. I "inherited" a clump of them from my nans garden about 20 years ago and I absolutely love them as they are a beautiful reminder of her and every year I have more flowers than the last. I even dug them up when we moved house so they could come with us. They stay in flower for a few weeks and give the garden a bright splash of colour when everything else is dying down. They look lovely in a vase too.
They are gorgeous ! There are so many of them too. I know it warms your heart to be reminded of your grandmother by these!
We have something similar here but they are called naked ladies because there are no leaves
A sweet reminder. I have a house plant that a very sweet and close friend gave me. She passed away years ago, but when we move, Ida, name of my friend and what I named my plant, goes with us.
