I'm not sure if this is the same toad we see each year in the garden but I like to think it is. It used to live in the pond but we filled it in and now it lives under the shrubs where its cool. I haven't seen any of his relatives and doing the gardening today I made sure I had long trousers tucked into socks and wellies. We're sort of becoming friends as long as it keeps a distance and always jumps away from me!
