Heron

I was passing through the next door village when I spied this heron sat on the footbridge. It was only when I got home that I realized what the sign on the side of the bridge said. Had I noticed it when I took the shot I would have got the whole sign in. It actually reads 'Do not climb on the bridge'

I did kick myself when I got home and looked at the sign. I only got two shots at this picture then he was gone. The first was from quite some distance, then I moved closer. I always try to do this then if they go at least I got a shot.
