What a day I think it has only stopped raining for about 15 minutes today. I slipped out and took these two shots during the 15 min. break and that was all I had time for because it was starting to rain again. I think these look best on black if you have time to look.
I was given a camera rain cover today so I went out intentionally to try it. It works better than a plastic bag! Flowers always look so pretty and fresh in the rain (when the heads are not broken off) and these are no exception
I can't remember a summer like this one for a while - it doesn't seem to have got started at all. Your flowers are very pretty with the raindrops on, especially the rose which is a lovely colour anyway.
Wonderful and refreshing. Our last rainfall was 24th July and it is so dry. Earth works begin for a large shed next week and the forecast is for another week of no rain which suits us I guess :)
