Christmas tree

A last I managed to get the tree decorated. Every year I plan to colour theme my tree but when the time comes out come all my favourite baubles, some of which have been on a tree all my life, some sent from or brought back from foreign lands, some given by friends and once more my tree ends us a mish-mash of decorations :) Still there won't be another like it.
That's lovely Shirley and the decorations have the history of your family which I'm sure you think about every time they go on the tree. I've been buying my son something each year so that when the time comes, he'll have some memories from me.

Please don't ever colour-theme your tree. We also have the well-loved decorations, and prize those given in the past. For years my sons derided the Oxfam fairy at the top, bought for our first tree. We once replaced it, and they were shocked! Now it reigns supreme.

Beautiful tree. Much nicer to have a tree decorated with memories rather than a colour coded one.
