Blue sky by shirleybankfarm

Blue sky

For a short while today we actually had a little bit of weak sunshine. Although the weather men tell us it is just the lull between the storm. The area of water on the right near the back is not normally there it is just flooded fields form Storm Desmond. The area on the left is a tarn, it is known as Winter Tarn as it only appears in winter when there is heavy rainfall.
Great catch of the rainbow as well as all those green fields! Probably green and muddy!

It looks pretty now that all is calm but it seems there is lots more rain to come. Perfect timing with the rainbow too. Keep dry and safe.

Beautiful rainbow but with more rain forecast it doesn't sound good for the next few days. Stay safe and hope you and your neighbours are able to keep your home's dry.

@maggiemae @happypat @blueberry1222 @roachling @shepherdman @hermann @flowerfairyann @gijsje @nadia_mt @pamknowler @bruni @deborah63 @tunia @lavenderhouse Thank you all for taking the time to look at and comment on my pictures, it means a lot to me. Storm Eva passed without too much trouble in this area. Rivers did burst their banks but didn't get too deep. We are now awaiting Storm Frank due to hit Tuesday 29th/Wednesday 30th!!!
