Frog or toad?

I have no idea if this is a frog or toad but this is the second night that we have come home and it has been sat on the door step and hops into the house as soon as we open the door. The picture is not very good because when I approached the front it, it turned and wanted to hop off. Also my flash is broken on my camera so I have hubby holding two torches on it.

It's only when we put the light on that we see him and by then he is in the house. It's lucky he hasn't been stepped on. Pat I don't mind him being around but really don't fancy kissing it, prince or no prince!!!!
