Sunbiggin Tarn

Apparently Sunbiggin Tarn is a rare Marl lake. I don't know a lot about marl lakes but it is something to do with the fact they are on Limestone I think.

@snowy @hermann @happypat @leestevo Thank you all for taking the time to look at my pictures and leave such lovely comments. Most of the land around Sunbiggin Tarn is rough moor land, the green field is one that is enclosed and reclaimed from the fell.

@anniesue Thanks for the comment Annie-Sue, there is a board telling you that it is a Marl tarn. We didn't stop to read it because we were actually doing a car treasure hunt :)
