@30pics4jackiesdiamond I left it there, as I don't really get along with umbrellas. I end up wetter than if I didn't use one :) One hopes the owner came back and found it.
@jacqbb I think someone saw it and picked it up and hung it on the fence, in the hope the owner would return and find it. I see that sort of thing quite often around here, with gloves and other "lost" items.
