Wildlife Day

These geese are definitely pretty wild, sometimes, especially if they think you are getting too close to their young ones. I've missed walking along this stretch of the riverside path the last couple of years, so thought I'd share an older photo for this 'day'.

Never get too close to the youngsters. dad might come after you.
All traffic stops when they cross the street. I've seen it many times.

@bruni Oh, I know! I crossed the street more than once when the parents started toward me. They tolerated me at a distance, but I was always careful.

They say that geese are the best guard dogs you can have! It’s not hard to see why! Nice shot though!
