When I took Charlotte home after she'd been staying with us for a week I knew I wouldn't be coming home for at least two weeks because I was to be on hand to look after everyone and the dogs, cat, guinea pigs and house when Niki had the baby. I took photos in the garden on the morning that Charlotte and I left because I knew it might look quite different when I got back.
