I went to visit my friend Nicola today to take her Christmas present. This is her daughter Rebecca with Millie.
Rebecca and my daughter Martha became friends when they joined Brecon Swimming Club at the age of about 11 years (they 28 now). That's how Nicola and I became friends. The girls grew up and moved on (although they are still in touch on Facebook). Nicola and I have remained good friends. We go walking together, go out for lunch, coffee and cake etc and I look after Millie sometimes. It was lovely to see Rebecca again.
