At the same temple pictured yesterday, was this bowl of eggs. The idea is you deposit whatever amount of money you desire into the box next to these eggs, then take an egg. Next to the eggs is a row of about seven stamps (the kind that you dip and ink and press on paper, not postage stamps).
Each stamp has a wish on them, such as money, or health, or good luck, etc. So you choose the stamp you want and stamp your egg with it. Then your desire comes true.
I always wondered if it were that easy than wouldn't people just buy eggs for health and never get sick, or get one for money and never need money. i don't know if there is any limit on how many and/or the strength of each desire, but a part of me feels that if people aren't just doing this and nothing else, than it inherently means that they truly don't have faith in it, thus why do it all?
Anyway tune in tomorrow to find the secret scary side to all of this. Information so important to you that some Taiwanese people feel if you don't know it, you will die.
