Took this rather ominous looking photo of my dog this afternoon, and I feel it goes very well with a topic i wanted to discuss. Basically how my dog could possibly be an evil genius.
The other day a friend was telling me about all the things that her dog has eaten/chewed up at her home. I was telling her that when my dog was younger, she also ate a lot of strange things, then i started to list them. A selected few of the things i listed are...

Books
As i listed them, my friend pointed out that a lot of these items are things that i would focus my attention on and spend a lot of time with. She made the guess that my dog knew this and wanted to destroy them (which she did) so there wouldn't be anything to distract me from paying attention to her.
My dog is pretty clever when it comes to doing something bad. But i never thought that she could be that smart. However it slowly started to all come together like the end of a detective movie. she does get quite jealous, and even when friends come over she will always try to get between us and make me pay attention to her instead.
I always knew that she is a brat, but are her actions so deeply calculated? Another example is when I take her to the big park to run around and play, if i am by myself, she will do what i say, but if a friend is with us, she will more do what she wants. I always figured this is because she is just too excited to have a friend with her, but now i am considering if it's really because she knows I won't discipline her as severely (to correctly discipline a dog you must address them with a firm stern voice, but most people in taiwan don't know about dog discipline, and most my friends get pretty scared if i talk in that way) if there is somebody else there.
Is it all coincidence, or is she that calculating? I guess we will never know the truth until it's two late. If i ever stop updating this blog, you'll know the worst has happened.
