Vegetables Catching Some Rays

After washing we are wet,
outside we go with friends we met.

On the car we lay still and good,
soaking up the rust from it's red hood.

For many hours we will shrivel,
to pass the time we chat of mindless drivel.

To you yes it may seem unhealthy,
our owners are poor and traditional, not so wealthy.

To see us drying is a common sight,
on streets, in parks, and through the night.

We must go now to be eaten whole,
see you again in your dinner bowl.
