One of the scenes often depicted in Oz Christmas cards features the kids stockings hanging from the mantle piece over the fireplace with a nice fire burning. It is a scene as foreign to us as the snow covered pine trees.
However, for our white Christmas, we were able to recreate the scene to a tee for Christmas morning.
