Kookaburra Sits on the Backyard Lawn . . .

When lacking in inspiration, take a shot of one of the birds in the backyard.
Ahh, but I love the birds in your backyard! They're different than anything in my backyard, which right now is less than it's been thanks to a stinkin' hawk that's decided to eat the little birds I feed.

@lyndemc It's very deserted here at present also Denise.
During our 3 weeks OS, all of the King Parrots disappeared, all of the rosellas, just about all of the Cockatoos (all of the quiet ones in particular) most of the lorikeets and this seasons juvenile magpies. For a while we thought we had lost father magpie but he reappeared after about a week. Very quiet.
I hope the King Parrots and the rosellas find their way back here.
