According to some website I looked at for tips on taking waterfall shots, I ticked all the boxes here:
1. Visit waterfall after heavy rain - tick;
2. Overcast conditions - tick;
3. Use tripod - tick;
4. Use Aperture Priority setting - tick;
5. Use smallest aperture possible - tick;
6. Use lowest ISO setting possible - tick;
7. Use 2 sec timer - tick
GO!!!
Who turned the bloody tap off?
Obviously the heavy rain from 2 nights previously had all already fallen over the edge and flowed away or it didn't fall where it was supposed to have. Either way, what a bummer - but I'm posting it anyway.
Taking a break from the parish churches. I finally got off my backside and went out looking for opportunities.
You're the only one I know who can turn a photo session into an IKEA dresser construction session.....and just like the dresser it somehow worked out! The image of Poppo with a book, checking off boxes is one I can't get out of my brain! BTW, nice shot!
