I was focussing on the duck in the front with the aperture wide open and just as I was taking the shot, the one behind paddled into the picture. If it had told me it was going to do that, I would have closed the aperture down so it was in focus also.
This shot was taken from the same point as yesterdays but facing a slightly different direction. Its amazing the difference in water colour between the two shots. Lots of greenery reflected in this one
Hi, Terry! I'm hiding this message so you will tell me when you will be in Utah! Here is an email I received today from our son, Robby Anderson, Ranger at Canyonlands National Park, ISKY.
Hey Mom,
I read your communication with this visitor. Sounds like he's on a tour, which is fine but bus tours only stop at Grand View and Green River Overlook. They only spend about 2 hours in the park. At least he'll see those overlooks!
Unfortunately bus tours don't go to Mesa Arch (because of CUA and NPS issues. Long story for later), so he won't see Mesa Arch.
He didn't mention what day he was coming to ISKY. I work the Entrance Station today, so perhaps he'll come through when I'm working the booth! That'll be cool.
