Despite the 5 hectares of Paronella Park being tropical rain forest, Jose still found room to plant an estimated 7,000 trees including this magnificent avenue of Qld Kauri Pines.
These trees were once heavily logged for their beautiful straight trunks and while they are not under any threat, large trees like this are now quite rare.
