After the Cobbold Gorge tour and lunch at the village, we left and headed back up the 50km of quite bad dirt road to spend the night in the very small town of Forsayth.
In the late afternoon, a huge flock of galahs descended on the small park opposite our cabin. Fabulous.
In Central Oz, little corellas seem to be the prevalent parrot species but further north in western Queensland, the number one spot seems to be taken by galahs. They were everywhere.
