Greenhill Mural - Sunny Side

This water reservoir is not far from our place and is a very popular leash free dog exercise area. When our kids were - well kids, we used to come up here to play on top of the tank. It is where I take all my sunrise and sunset shots of Brisbane from. One lap of the tank is about 800mtrs.

While we were away, the council decided to pretty it up a bit by painting a fantastic mural around the base of it featuring local wildlife. It is brilliant.

So many places are doing this now and I think it is a fantastic idea. So much talent out there and what a great place to showcase that talent and make an ugly old reservoir look attractive.

Murals are becoming a very popular way to breath life back into boring walls and structures these days and remind us of the natural beauty we are losing all around us. Lovely collection of images to give us a feel for the project.
