Day 7: Grand Canyon

The Desert View Watchtower was completed in 1932 and was designed to look like an ancient Pueblo watchtower.

Desert View Point is about 35 kms from Grand Canyon Village towards the eastern entrance to the canyon and provides a different aspect to the canyon and the Colorado River below
These are all wonderful shots of a landscape famously hard to capture.

We know this place well! Love the Grand Canyon. We went to the bottom of the Canyon on mules when my husband and I were on our honeymoon, stayed overnight down there..... What a trip!
