The walking trail up to Emerald Pools in Zion NP over the Virgin River.
Zion NP is the only one of the parks we visited where Terry Tourist goes into the canyon itself rather than looking down into the canyon from above. Consequently, the vast majority of the shots I took were in portrait mode.
Great composition in this shot; it’s hard to believe Zion’s canyons were formed by the Virgin cutting through the Navajo Sandstone, it’s more of a stream now.
