@suzanne234 I cheated a bit here Suzanne. The evening before, we were wandering around Durango looking for somewhere to eat when we saw a shop selling large photo prints. There was a shot very very similar to this one and I said to Rhoda that we should be able to get one like that. Took many like this in a number of forest locations the next day but they all missed the mark.. This was the last one I took and as soon as I saw it in the viewfinder, I knew I had it. @terryliv There's nothing wrong with been inspired by another shot, if someone was to get some from one of mine, apart from it been a miracle, I would be delighted! Its not plagiarism at all, now if you had titled it "Aspens Panorama I" you could have been in trouble :)
Fantastic, I love the Aspens, such an iconic image. We took similar shots around the Jasper area in the Canadian Rockies but you got that golden glow perfectly.
