Sonia and John took the two older boys (Connor and Declan) to see the latest Star Wars movie and left Eoin with Nanna and Poppo. So we bundled him up and took him over to one of the local parks that had a bit of a water play area. He had a ball running around.
This was one of those features where water shoots up from the ground at varying places and the kids chase around trying to get to where the water is at that time.
Love the "No Running" sign in the background. Why did they bother?
Finally I have finished all my postings for the Christmas period. Hands up everyone who thinks that we in the Sthn Hemisphere have much more fun at Christmas than the unfortunates in the Northern. LOL
There’s no doubt about the fun in the sun you all have compared to us this time of year. Of course we have snow, lots of snow, this year it’s in places that haven’t seen snow for 30 years, lol.
Love the irony of that sign. Agreed. Your Christmas might not be that iconic white Christmas but your photos have been nothing but fun and joy and isn’t that what it’s all about?! Plus you all have the most fantastic creatures and birds and thankfully, you share them so beautifully!
Another stunning pic of all the family fun you have had over the holidays. That sign probably does not want anyone running on the path and colliding with the water runners ;-)
Well, snow is just frozen water, so I guess you can have fun north or south. You just have to go out and enjoy, wherever you live. And take care you do not get a sunburn or a frostbit. ;-)
I'm really glad you had your family over and had a great time. Thanks for sharing, Terry.
My hand is up! Even though we've had sunny hikes, we haven't had any water fun at all. We haven't had any precipitation in almost 100 days. The television weatherman had on his FB page that we should all pray, and I'm sure there are some rain dances going on as well.
