We had a few days R&R at the Gold Coast last month and in a rare moment of inspiration, I had a particular shot of Surfers Paradise taken from the point at North Burleigh in mind. Unfortunately the weather and the tides conspired against me and I never did make it.
I was still very happy with this one though.

Unfortunately, this is the image that many people have of the Gold Coast but it is only at the northern end that you encounter the concentrated high rise. South of Surfers, the apartments are much more spread out and we reckon it is great.
Everything to love about this shot! The city light, water lines and reflections. We were there many years ago and it certainly did not look like this. Fav!
