There were only ever 271 Jaguar XJ220s produced and this one is only 1 of 69 in right hand drive. Despite leaving the factory in 1993, this car has travelled only 904 miles.
The car originally cost £470,000. Today it was POA but I suspect that it was a case of "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." And if you are still undecided about buying this baby, the tipping point could well be the fact that the "XJ220 is accompanied by a set of leather bound, silver gilded paperback manuals." Now I know I have just got to have it.
I never realised how many of these Supercars were purchased by collectors just as investments or just so they could have them and were never driven. How could you not take it out and cruise High Street every Saturday night.
Now that really is beautiful! How I would love to have a drive! I wonder how many Miles per gallon you would get in this? Not very economical I am sure! Mind you if you could afford to buy who’s worrying about how much it costs to run! Lol! Fav!
Charlie wants to know if it has a mid-engine? I think the lights above reflect like magic in this view. Like Tinker Bell has waved her magic wand over it all.
