1930 Packard 740

Does this one tickle your fancy Suzanne?

This beautiful old Packard has a 6.3 litre (gulp) straight 8 engine and has done only 5,359 miles. I reckon this one was one the more beautiful vehicles at the museum and it can be yours for the bargain basement price of just $255,000.

At the time of its release in 1930, Packard had been the top selling luxury brand in the US for six years and was a firm favourite with film stars because of its glamorous style and high quality. It continued to be heavily favoured by wealthy Americans leading up to the great depression.
This has everything I love! I want it! Oh well I will just have to drool over your great photo! Fav!

That's beautiful Poppo, very grand. I'd struggle to parallel park it , but I guess I'd just pay someone to do it :)

Great car. Great photo. Did you get to the Petersen Car Museum when you were in L.A.? If not, we'll have to go when you come back. There is also a Bugatti museum outside LA. But it is only open once or twice a month, so that would require more planning. That one is a private collection and really amazing. Mostly cars from the 20's and 30's.
