Finally getting some opportunities to get a shot of this seasons latest addition to the Magpie clan.
The magpies really got their beaks out of joint after the Kookaburras adopted us and we hardly saw them at all this breeding season but they seem to be returning now for an easy take away feed. Too knackered to do things for themselves.
Looks like he's struttin' his stuff....now that the kookaburra's aren't a threat. Interesting side fact - I just learned recently that the voice of Flipper, produced way back in the 60's, was not a dolphin at all, but instead was a recording of a kookaburra - slowed way down. OK, back to our original planned programming.....
