I think I mentioned in a previous posting about the horror movie I saw when I was a kid called The Deadly Mantis. Scared the crap out of me.
I couldn't sleep for weeks afterwards

But to answer your question, I mainly shoot in "Guess" mode. LOL
Actually I am all over the place depending on my mood for the day and what I am trying to do. When I was shooting the praying mantis I switched between Av, Tv, P (ISO selected) and SCN. I actually use SCN a lot with landscapes. Yeah, I know, the purists would turn their noses up at the mere thought of that but I am basically lazy.
My general approach has always been to take a heap of photos in the hope that I might jag one or two decent ones. I have recently started shooting in RAW
@terryliv I took the 18-400 on condition that I can change it if not happy. I was not happy with it as my lumix gave me much better pictures. Waiting for the 16-300 now ;-)
@ludwigsdiana That's a lot of pressure you're putting on me Diana. I actually thought that that shot you posted using the 18-400 was very good and it was shot at 400. What didn't you like about the lens?
