I think I did the Cooktown Orchids a disservice the other day when I said that each year, they put out a couple of flowers. Its actually more than a couple and like all orchids, the flowers last for ages.
The best part is that these flowers are right in our face as we walk up the steps from the pool to our back door. We tend to take them for granted
