What Tree is That? by terryliv

What Tree is That?

I walk past this view of the ending of two of the main runs at Big White many times a day and it never ceases to stop me in my tracks.
Can someone from N America put me out of my misery and tell me what sort of trees they are? There is no point asking anyone from around here as they are all Australians. I'm not joking!!!
No idea about the trees but they look fabulous in this landscape!

At that elevation, and in that part of BC, they are likely spruce and fir. There could be hemlock and some cedar mixed in; generically, they are all evergreens. You know, Terry, they're Christmas trees.....couldn't help myself!
