It wasn't until after the doe had started to move off that I noticed this fawn. A couple of very quick shots before it followed mum off into the forest.
But is it a fawn? According to Prof Google, a fawn is under 12 months. Is this one under 12 months?
Looks small enough to be a fawn (not that I really know!) Great image.

Yes, it looks like a fawn, that is young of the year. I always look for a shorter face on young of the year, and size.....
