Waders at Mutton Hole Wetlands

Day 17 - Normanton, Gulf Country, NWQ

According to my bird bible, the pair of birds at the top are Black Fronted Dotterels and the pair below are immature Pied Stilts.

From what I can tell, the little dotterels are endemic to Australia although, in the last 50 years, they have extended their range to New Zealand

Lovely to see them all in action.
