Started our day by taking one of the optional excursions on the tour - a helicopter flight over the GC. Fantastic. Lots of photos taken and lots of rubbish due to reflections in the plexiglass canopy.
This shot of the Colorado River was taken very soon after we crossed over the south rim of the canyon.
We had seen the Colorado river downstream from the Hoover Dam the previous day and we didn't know it at the time but it was to be our constant companion over the next two weeks.
