Mesas and buttes dominate the landscape from one of the visitor centres on Monument Valley Rd.
After we checked into the hotel, we were taken by a Navajo guide on a 4WD truck tour into the heart of the valley. After travelling for a couple of miles, the road crested a ridge and there was the valley with all of the mesas and buttes in front of us. Just fabulous.
