When I moved to Dallas in 1969 the tallest building was maybe 30 stories tall. Coming from flat west Texas I was just amazed at that “tall” building. Now that building is dwarfed by incredible skyscrapers. It may be your perspective of this building, but it looks much taller than anything around it. I used to worry that the ground couldn’t support all the downtown buildings, that was before I learned about the piers they were built on. I led an architecturally sheltered life in Lubbock. Smile.
I laugh as I look at this Terry. When I was there this year my hotel was on the river front and I upgraded my room to get the river view. When I opened the curtains I was directly opposite the huge word Trump on the front of this building! I had a fabulous view up and down the river but I laughed every time I looked out!
