My Thoughtful, Intelligent Look

Continuing my week of birds in our backyard.

There are a heap of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos that hang around our back yard every day but this particular bird thinks that it owns us.

He is quite happy to come into the house and wander around and help himself to the seed bin. And yes, he can easily remove the lid of he bin if it is on.

If it comes down and we ignore it or if we aren't at home, anything that has been left on the patio table ends up on the ground and things that are on the ground get picked up and thrown around. We have lost a few coffee cups and other breakables to this guy.

He is also quite happy to get amongst my bromeliads and throw them off the shelves that they sit on. Eight broms is his record for one temper tantrum.

We try to dislike him but it is impossible. He is such a character.

Shot at 55mm and no crop so yes, he was very close to me
Wonderful perspective detail and colour Terry a fantastic image, Fav:)

Just a beautiful shot. I love it. Nice narrative too. But surprisingly long for the man known as Pithy Poppo.
