A pair of Asian Small-clawed Otters take up the dominant position on their log.
The Asian small-clawed otter's native range extends from parts of India to Southeast Asia including the islands of Sumatra, Java, Borneo and Palawan. It lives in freshwater wetlands such as swamps, meandering rivers, irrigated rice fields as well as estuaries, coastal lagoons and tidal pools.
