Found this on the road in front of our place today. Guess we wont be seeing much more of our blue tongue lizard

Oh no, this makes me sad, I love our little garden critters:-(

Oh darn, was that the same one? Poor thing

:( It occurs to me that I used to see so much wildlife killed along the road - opossums, squirrels, skunks, rabbits, even deer. Now I rarely see any. I think we have killed most of them, and it breaks my heart.

Live and die by the road eh? I was in Bundy late last year and saw plenty of toads in a similar pose. Poor bluey.

I guess it's a good thing the kids weren't trying to pet this one at the time it met its demise. I believe it's trending on the flat lizard page.

Well, ruin a perfectly good day with sad news like this. Would this be considered Abstract Art??

@gilbertwood @net @hermann @digitalrn @teiko @karlow75 @ribbet9 @homeschoolmom @mvangent @sabanford @vegansusan @gigiflower @stray_shooter @lyndemc Thanks everyone. I loved all the pithy comments. When I posted this I had no idea what the reaction would be and I was in two minds as to whether I should do it but in the end . . It just seemed like such a logical (if somewhat gruesome) conclusion to the blue tongue lizard pics I had posted earlier.
@lyndemc Well it is certainly two dimensional art isn't it.
@stray_shooter Ha Ha Not only trending, but has been voted as the best flat lizard shot of the year.
@mvangent Yes I had to be quick with this one Michelle before he took off.
@gigiflower Don't know Sam. If there are we probably wont see any until spring now as they disappear during winter.
